Do you know what it’s like to do a newborn twins photo shoot? Kind of like being trapped in a small room with two playful tigers. I’ve always imagined it as a fun, but risky endeavor. Until weeks ago, however, I had no real experience with capturing two babies of the same age. I’ve photographed two or three children in a photo shoot, but they’ve always been at a different age, which makes things much easier. So – my first newborn twins photo shoot in a studio is already a fact.
They still could not sit and crawl, so we were a little limited in variety of poses. But the mood was positive and we all had a lot of fun as it shows in the .
Usually babies fail to focus their attention for long on anything, their mood breaks down easily.They often become irritable and need frequent breaks. These little chaps, however, surprised me. They kept their smiles and their curiosity all the time. I photographed them for an hour without a break and without stopping for a meal. You could say that my first twins photo shoot was very lucky and great pleasure.
I did, however some conclusions for twins photo shoot that I will share with you. Do not separate the puppies for long. They feel more comfortable when they are close to each other. Keep them together.
Do not wait to capture the perfect posture – shoot continuously so not to miss interesting faces and movements. Have in mind all the tips you know about photographing a baby, but multiplied by two!
