Hi, I’m Elena – a fine art photographer specialising in maternity, newborn, and family portraiture. My cosy natural-light studio is based in Abbotsford, NSW 2046, where I photograph newborns and some maternity sessions. Most family and outdoor maternity sessions take place in beautiful natural settings around Sydney.
Photography has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I’ve always been drawn to capturing meaningful moments—those fleeting details that pass all too quickly. In 2015, I began specialising in newborn photography, and it’s been my mission ever since to preserve precious memories for families to treasure for generations.

Qualifications & Training
As I transitioned into newborn photography, I knew that working with tiny babies required not only creativity but also the utmost care and responsibility. To ensure the highest standards of safety and quality, I’ve invested in extensive training, including mentoring with one of the industry’s leading newborn photographers, Erin Elizabeth. I’ve also completed multiple courses in lifestyle family photography to refine my skills and offer a relaxed, emotive experience for every family I work with.

Newborn Photography Studio – Captured by Elly, Abbotsford
Welcome to my cosy home studio in Abbotsford, designed specifically for newborn and family photography. The space is filled with natural light and styled with a beautiful collection of wraps, blankets, baskets, bowls, and beds.
My style is natural and organic, using neutral tones with the option to include a touch of colour if you’d like something a little different.
Newborn sessions run for 1–3 hours, depending on your package and how your baby is on the day. There’s plenty of time for feeding, cuddles, and settling—no rush, just a relaxed experience.
Sibling and family photos are more than welcome and are usually taken at the start of the session, so older children can head out for a break while we focus on baby.
