Full service photography is much more than photographing your session and handing over digital files for you, in terms of figuring out what to do with your portraits from your session. I take the time to help you plan everything from your wardrobe and styling, finding the perfect location for your session, to helping you decide on and design photographic 'art' pieces to proudly display in your home.

Every session is unique, just like you. Your Full Service photography session begins with getting to know you and finding out 'your why' for investing in custom photography and what your needs are in terms of how you would like to display your portraits. I offer unique, tangible, professional quality prints, wall art products, custom albums, keepsake boxes, as well as digital products. I know how difficult it can be deciding how to display your treasured portraits. I guide you through your entire photography experience by taking the time to help design a gallery for that empty wall that you've been meaning to fill, or I can design a beautiful custom photo album that you and your family can enjoy looking through for many generations to come. From first contact to the delivery of your custom print products, I help you every step of the way.

Your portrait session with Captured by Elly Photography is not a typical 'look at the camera and say cheese' session. We take a more candid, natural 'family led' approach to photographing your family. Sure, I always strive to document a few traditional poses of everyone looking and smiling at the camera, but the majority of your session will be focused on documenting authentic moments of your family connecting with each other. These moments of connection between you and your loves will be the ones that will bring back the emotions and memories of this time in your life journey. I encourage you to connect with your family and not with the camera as much as possible during your session. Portraits of you connecting and interacting with your loved ones naturally lead to 'real' moments shared between you. These are the moments that I love to document for you!

In-person, phone, or email consultations are provided to discuss wardrobe, location options, and ideas for your portrait experience. You are encouraged to stop by my home studio so we can chat about your photography needs. I also have many unique product samples on display to help you decide what you would like to do with your portraits. You are not obligated in any way to book a session at the consultation, but if you feel that I am the right fit as the photographer for your family and you love the experience and products I offer, I can book you in right away. To secure your session date and time I require that the session fee be paid in full and a contract signed upon booking.

After photographing your session my job is far from done. As an artist I meticulously cull through all the photos from your session and decide on the best ones to retouch and artistically edit. Hours are spent fine tuning and editing your portraits to make everyone look their best and enhance your portraits into pieces of art.

Once the best portraits from your session are perfected and ready for you to view I do not just hand you a disk and wave goodbye. At this point my job is still not done. Approximately 2 weeks after your portrait session, we meet again at my home studio for your Gallery Reveal, design consultation, and ordering appointment. During this appointment you will enjoy viewing the portraits from your session in a custom slideshow. After viewing the slideshow, I help you narrow down your favourite portraits and guide you through the design and ordering of the perfect products to fit your needs. It is always beneficial for you to come to the studio for your Gallery Reveal & Ordering Session as I have many samples on display of the photographic art products that I offer. Viewing and holding the products in person helps you to fully appreciate the quality and stunning appearance of everything I offer. Please note that all decision makers must be present at this appointment as your order will be placed that day.
