At my professional photo studio at Inner-west, Sydney, I shoot a lot of newborn portraits. Parents order photos of their babies, so they can keep and cherish those memories. Those first moments pass so fast.
A great part of my job is cuddling those babies. Because when they are asleep, I could do my job better. And when one day George‘s mother called me to book a new session, I was very happy to see him again. The surprise was that the new session was for his little sister – Daphne. It was less than a year between the sessions.
Oh, Daphne is an angel. She slept all the time and I did wonderful shots. She looks like a princess with all these tiebacks, bonnets and props.
Sometimes babies smile in their sleep. When I have a chance I always try to capture these smiles with my camera. Because these smiles are so innocent and gorgeous.
