That’s right – I come to your house for the newborn photo session.
How does this work?
It is very simple – you contact me in your second trimester to book your photoshoot. I take limited sessions per month so it is best to book early. I pencil in your due date and you just contact me as soon as your newborn baby arrives. It is important to do the session the first 2-3 weeks after the birth. All I need from you is to pay the invoice for the session fee of $250 and fill in my contract to secure your spot. These will be sent to your email.
Because the in-home newborn shoots are obviously done in the comfort of your own home, the result will be always different from the studio sessions – meaning they will have the authentic feel of your home and space. This is because each house has a different light and furniture.
I will bring some outfits, blankets, and props with me, but the majority of the shoot will be ” lifestyle”. We will be using a bed, a couch, windows, maybe a wall. I will ask when the best light is in your house and some pictures so I can decide what will work best for your situation. Some homes have just poor natural light and if we are unlucky with the weather, I might need to bring my artificial lighting system.
These sessions typically last for 1-2 hours. I send instructions prior to the session for the best results. Children and fur babies are welcome to join.
