Awesome maternity photo session
I really like this Maternity studio session I did in Meadowbank with Victoria. We had the perfect light and the photos turned out to be amazing! Take a look at some of the pictures I took below. Victoria was amazing throughout the session and was willing to experiment with different positions and outfit. I am more than happy to add such a beautiful mother-to-be in my maternity portfolio <3!
Preparation before meeting the maternity photographer
It is recommended that you prepare before your maternity photo session day. It is generally a good idea to find inspiring images online in Google Images, Instagram, Pinterest etc. Victoria had done a great job with the preparation. She brought her tablet and showed me different maternity photos that she had found online. She was willing to experiment and I was more than happy to try out every idea she had. If you have ideas, share them with your maternity photographer!
Outfit for maternity photo session
Your maternity photographer will give you plenty of advises about what to wear during a pregnancy photo session. In addition to clothes you should think about accessories as well. It is recommended that you are dressed with clothes in plain colors. I personally prefer white or light outfit for the sessions I shoot. I usually strongly advise my clients to prepare more than one outfit so that they can have more options and enjoy variety of different images. There are plenty of inspirational resources online so try to be prepared and do not wait until the session day to decide what to wear!
